Finished Lovely Lee. Started in October, concentrated on in March.
Lee has many memories for me. My childhood and then my family's. Climbing on the rocks, exploring rockpools, smelling the seaweed, cream teas looking out at this view.
When I showed it to one son he said, 'Oh the seaweed place!'. Its much as it was fifty plus years ago, and painting it has brought all those memories back.
It's a big canvas, and in oils. Now to get it framed. And then exhibited- even , hopefully , sold!
